Unfortunately I don’t have a full review dedicated to IX, as I reviewed it on video only during my short-lived stint on YouTube. However, I thought it was arguably the most interesting and eccentric or at least daring from the Opus line.
What I remember is IX being surprisingly challenging. The civet really comes through in this otherwise rather dense white floral scent. I get hints of Opus I in this, and also a nod to Tom Ford Black Orchid, but significantly ‘dirtier’ than both of those. It’s like their more skanky, daring sibling.
