Out of the 3 Ode Ona that I’ve smelled at the time of writing (the others being Carte Blanche & Dawn Earth), Everjet is clearly my personal favorite.

As with Carte Blanche, I find this one rather hard to describe; it is on the transparant, contemporary side, with a somewhat abstract scent profile.

In a way this feels like a darker, more flavorful and interesting flanker to Carte Blanche; they smell different, but they feel similar, if that makes sense.

What I get here is a hint of suede, a bit of liquorice… my connections are probably influenced by the name, but it does come across a bit inky to me. It grows more and more familiar smelling, in a sweeter direction.

I don’t smell anything related to the notes to be honest; I would’ve guessed ambrette, iris… having hints of carrot and fruity sweet tea.

But as mentioned, I find it hard to gage; it has a bit of everything, but at the same time, everything is toned down, watery clear and soft. As someone who tends to find abstraction and not being able to place what I’m smelling a positive, Everjet gets a thumbs up.
