Dawn Earth is simultaneously my personal least favorite of the 3 Ode Ona that I’ve smelled, and probably the one I’d recommend most. If a person is not opposed to greener scents, I think Dawn Earth is quite good and it has more density and vibrancy than Carte Blanche & Everjet.
It has a strong green direction, but at the same time, the earthiness that comes with it smells rather sweet. It reminds me of vetiver and patchouli, but with a bit of a shimmer to it. Not quite the sparkling and ambergris-loaded Les Indemodables Escale En Indonesie, but it’s not a challenging, ‘gothic’ earthy forest either. It has a sweeter, resinous side to it.
Definitely not my usual style, but I can appreciate this a lot of what it is. Very similar in experience (and actually also in scent) that I had with Epichron Twin Peaks and to lesser extent Les Abstraits Des Cendres.
