Un Deux Trois Soleil has a rather unique opening to my nose. Yes, it has the almond/heliotrope/tonka scent that we’ve smelled many times before, but this also has a strong incense and a fresher, anise-like scent.

Funny enough, to my nose there’s a distinct similarity to Amouage Reflection Man, only when smelled up close and not in the air. Maybe it’s the metallic tinge from the bitter almond. That’s before it moves into an even sweeter and more almondy drydown.

It has a very gourmand almond paste with some spices vibe going on and it smells quiet unnatural (even though using almost all natural ingredients). I definitely can appreciate it later in the wear a lot, although it does smell a bit harsh and metallic to my nose in the opening.
