Looking for the cleanest, freshest, most crisp fruity scent on the market? Here’s one to consider.
From what I’ve tried, I’m a fan of Villoresi, although I really should do a deeper dive into what the brand has to offer. Admittedly, when I saw Teti getting some hype and the change of bottle color, I was a bit weary that it would be a change of course for the brand, but instead, I was pleasantly surprised by it.
The main takeaways from Teti to me are peach, lily-of-the-valley and musks or aldehydes. The fruitiness is airy and unripe; peach and apple came to mind most for me, with a hint of berries. I don’t get much of a citrussy acidity from it; it’s quite neutral. It feels crisp and crunchy.
This is only amplified by the overall clean aesthetic. It has a retro cleanliness to it; not a sweet, soft soapiness, but a coarse laundry detergent powder. As mentioned, prominent here is the lily-of-the-valley. Usually a very tricky note for me to enjoy, but it works perfectly here, adding an icy cold morning dew feeling.
Bright neon white and green with tiny fruity hints. As it dries down, it almost feels more vegetal than fruity. It’s refreshing and it stays refreshing for a pretty substantial amount of time. This is not one of those fragrances that warms up and gets overly sweet.
Very different from 95% of fragrances currently on the market; retro in a sense. Compared to for example Eris Delta Of Venus, which I considered one of the most fresh scents in this genre, Teti feels a lot colder and sharper. I can also imagine fans of the original Bvlgari Omnia Crystalline enjoy this. The fruitiness feels natural, but as a whole it’s sharp and fresh in a way that reminds me of cleaning products and roomsprays as well; but for once, that’s not a negative remark. It suits the style and it offers something that I haven’t found before. Strong thumbs up.
