‘The city fragrance launched in 2026 is the Beijing-exclusive SHIU 25 Camphorwood 25. “SHIU” is actually an ancient pronunciation of “tree”. As the name suggests, the fragrance is centered on “camphorwood”, combined with pink pepper, iris and frankincense to create a tranquil and calming scent. It is also the 19th fragrance in Le Labo’s city series. SHIU 25 Camphor Wood 25 is inspired by spaces that maintain a quiet order, like handicraft workshops bearing the marks of time, or the leisurely feeling in courtyards. In fact, last year, Le Labo opened a very special “Courtyard Fragrance Lab” in Beijing, which is the brand’s second store in Beijing (the first store is in Sanlitun).’ – Marie Claire Taiwan (translated)
