I’ve been very impressed with Perris in general. Santal du Pacifique feels very straightforward and familiar, yet nice. It’s a dry smooth, sandalwood, but it’s not my favorite kind.
This leans towards wood shavings from a woodworkshop. It has some added sweetness, but sticks pretty much to a straight up woody note. It smells like how I’d imagine Escentric Molecules to do a sandalwood fragrance.
Pleasant, but far from my favorite from this brand; it just feels a bit one-dimensional.
