‘All macerated over 10% sinking Prachinburi agarwood & 5% Royal Omani green Hojari frankincense tinctures, then rested eleven lunar cycles to form a 38% Extrait de Parfum. Rose de L’Antiquité Oud, an entirely new, and unconventional chypre structure which I’d spent the last 3.5years creating, only using various roses and oud oils; to give off the authentic chypre “effect” we adore in the classical landscape. No premade bases, no synthetic shortcuts, every accord was singlehandedly stood up from patient study, curiosity, and conserved passion, mostly using self-extracted materials, private distillates and renowned material sources. Rose de L’Antiquité Oud , is my ode to the post Victorian era, till mid 1900s: roses and various agarwood oils in pure dialogue, free of ambiguous elements or performance biased synthetics. It’s crafted for souls who live deeply within the vintage and complex domain of perfumery, seeking a unique iteration of heritage.’ – Wasif Reza
