‘Oud AlKhulood is a 100% Pure Double Super Oud Oil extracted from Premium grade oud chips of wild Aquilaria Crassna trees, 35 to 40 years old trees found in the forests in the area between Assam and Nagaland, Northeast India. After the Oud oil has been distilled it is filtered, sunned and aged for about 3 months. Presenting a deep and balanced character and unmatchable diffusion, the scent profile reveals dark and warm nuances of animalic notes. It opens with a bold burst of hay and chilled tobacco, wrapped in the smooth, smoky warmth of aged whisky, laced with subtle fruity glimmers. A sumptuous note of osmanthus emerges — golden and radiant — weaving in whispers of honey, ripe apricot, and sun-drenched peach. The heart is deepened and softened by a velvety jasmine bloom, adding a floral richness that elevates the entire olfactive profile. To celebrate the permanence of this exclusive Attar, Amouage selected a name derived from the Arabic word “Khalada” which translates to “to last forever”.
