As someone who really doesn’t like 1 Million (with the exception of 1 Million Parfum) or Lady Million I braced myself for this one. I’d smelled both th Million Gold only briefly, but they didn’t seem to appeal to me much more. Now, jasmine being one of my favorite notes, I hoped this would be more up my alley, but especially the first hours are among the worst fragrance I’ve smelled this year.

Pure Jasmine opens plasticy, but fresher than a lot of the aforementioned Paco Rabanne’s. Still somewhat sweet, but not the candy bubblegum sweetness straight away; it’s almost aquatic, sharp.

What follows is an unwearable, sour, bitter, bugspray vibe. It’s as if someone took some flower (stems mostly) and some fruit and condensed it into a highly-concentrated, almost toxic-smelling powder.

To be fair, I sort of (tried to) forget I wore this fragrance, but after some hours, there was a much nicer, fainter, soft jasmine scent that wasn’t half bad. But it was too little, too late. Overall, this is a strong dislike for me.
