It’s been a while since I’d smelled the original Love Don’t Be Shy, but I’ve always liked it. In an attempt to sample the new Princess Eau Fraiche, I accidentally ended up with Love Don’t Be Shy Eau Fraiche, so I figured I’d give that a wear.

From memory, this is very similar to the original. With more focus on the citrussy opening. Neroli is listed, I also tend to smell bergamot in here. It’s very pleasing.

The combination with the soft, velvety marshmallow sweetness and musky base is tried and true and is once again working very well here. It’s a scent-profile that’s been overly done, but we can give Kilian at least partial credit for that and it’s easy to see why it’s popular.

This leans traditionally feminine. I enjoy wearing it as a man, but it’s one of my favorite scent profiles on women. There’s not too much to say; if you enjoy Love Don’t Be Shy and are in need of a refill or just want another rendition of it, Eau Fraiche is solid offering.
