When I tried the 2025 floral trio at a launch event in Paris, my clear favorite on first impression was Jade Amour. After testing them on skin (a sample set was gifted at the event), Jade Amour still makes the most likeable first impression, but Fleur Danger gives it a run for its money (whereas Neo Eden is the least to my taste, but also nicer on skin). All 3 are interesting; a bit more on the eccentric and contemprory side again (like a Fuego Futuro, Grand Beau), less the more romantic styling of Eau Coeur or Sol Salgado). All 3 have a sharpness and neon-hue to them.
Jade Amour is quite intriguing. It’s fruity and vibrant. Like overripe fruits, bordering on candied. Which, is usually not my style and I wondered if it would be too much. I prefer fruitiness in fragrance mostly on the more subtle, watery side. However, Jade Amour cuts through the sweeter, thicker fruit juice with sharp florals and a hint of green.
And whereas the fruits feel more like a thickly-pressed juice, the overall scent has an aquatic nature to it; like a shampoo. And that aquatic, fruity-floral shampoo vibe is prominent for the entire wear on my skin. While not ‘juvenile’, it’s easily the most ‘fun’ fragrance of this trio in my opinion. It recalls 90’s fruity-florals like a Ralph Lauren Safari For Her. I’m also reminded of some of the shampoo-vibes I get in Nathalie Feisthauer’s work (Der Duft Privilege, but more fruity).
Overall, a pleasant and versatile fragrance.
