Paco Rabanne… a brand I have few good memories with. One Million is a DNA I can’t tolerate and the first Phantom was arguably the worst designer release for sale; so it’s an understatement to say that I wasn’t excited for Fame.

However, Fame isn’t nearly as bad as Phantom was and actually has something good going for a while. The opening is a vibrant combination of white florals and mango. The mango makes this fragrance and initially I was positively surprised.

After a while a very common cloyingly sweet vanilla that seems prominent in loads of women’s designer releases pushes through and the scent becomes hard to wear for me. Aside from the mango, which also becomes a bit overbearing, this is quite a basic, generic release.
