‘Bold, extremely sensual, and delicious, we took the iconic fragrance from our Easy Bake Loose Setting Powder and bottled it! Capturing the seductive, creamy floral bouquet from our cult-fave powder, our limited-edition Easy Bake Eau de Parfum is a signature perfume that leaves an irresistible scent trail wherever you go. Bursting with juicy pear, this sexy opening develops into a heart of creamy white florals and an iconic tuberose infusion. A sensual base of vanilla, sugared amber, and Dreamwood® (sandalwood) creates a powerfully irresistible fragrance with the staying power of our O.G. loose powder! – Huda Beauty
Did I have preconceived notions about a Huda scent being underwhelming, or at least, not for me? Yup. Was I wrong? Yup. Not to say that Easy Bake is a beacon of originality or a complex masterpiece, but I liked this fragrance from start to finish a whole lot better than I anticipated.
The opening is interesting, albeit somewhat… divisive, I would assume. I get a mix of doll-head, earthiness and sweetness, but at the same time freesia, watery florals. One of the notes says ‘dewy’ and that’s accurate; before knowing the notes, I noted that it smelled like a sweet take on green dew drops.
Bordering on gourmand at times, but initially, the florals keep it from going there.
After a while though, it becomes a rather generic, but in my opinion, pleasant, powdery muddy vanilla. More of a skin scent, but I’ll take that vanillic scent here over many other common drydowns.
Overall, nothing groundbreaking, but solid throughout and nicely priced at that. Thumbs up.
