‘The ‘Spray to Help’ mission is to promote significant improvements in the way the world addresses territory and community, contributing to the realization of solidarity development goals. Xerjoff’s #spraytohelp campaign supports the biggest environmental moment of the year. From the jungles of India to London’s iconic Mall, eight herds of life-sized elephants modelled on real wild elephants from the Nilgiri Hills in Southern India, each carrying a different scent, raised funds and awareness for projects that help humans and wildlife coexist. CoExistence by XERJOFF opens gigantic with pungent osmanthus and seductive jasmine absolute, baptized by bergamot. Hints of majuscule Cambodian oud – tobacco-like and smoky – marry to bitter roses and establish its auburn scent reign. CoExistence is a composition of condensed metallic rose embracing smoky oud and musk; which intensifies incense-like oud and enhances the rose dimensions to ultra luxury extent.’ – Xerjoff
As with Save Me, CoExistence is another one from the ‘Spray To Help’ charity initiative that wasn’t a love for me.
For just a moment this opens like a fruity oud rose, but instantly you get hit with a lot more acidity. More bergamot, more jasmine. It’s lovely in the air for a while, with an almost lemonade like rose scent. Smelling the skin more up-close however, a plasticy scent comes through. It’s a fruity acidic rose that’s been done before, but it packs a decent punch. Solid, but it didn’t excite me.
