While being one of the oldest PureDistance fragrances; it’s one that I discovered the latest. And while it’s another great, traditionally feminine leaning scent, it’s a notch below some of my favorite fragrances from the brand that go in that direction, like Puredistance I, White & Divanche.
That being said; it’s a style that the brand excels in and Antonia is no different. Crisp flower petals, powdery and soft texture, almost buttery at times. It’s a sweeter take on morning dew petals, with that yellow floral-bordering on sun tan vibe to it with honeyed facets. A honeyed green 90’s chypre-style floral. In fact, as others (on Fragrantica for example) have voted; this is close to Ralph Lauren Safari (For Her). I have a vintage bottle of Safari and I have to admit that Antonia is almost identical to it
Wears very traditional, retro, in both scent and textures. A joy to wear, albeit it not my first pick from the brand.
