This new creation brings Kilian Hennessy’s signature On the Rocks accord to life, masterfully blended with the cognac-inspired fragrance of Angels’ Share. Perfectly chilled, Angels’ Share on the Rocks captures the cognac’s flavor the way Kilian prefers—on ice. “My father and grandfather always drank cognac neat. I’m the one who dared to commit this ‘sacrilege.’ For me, an ice-cold sip brings out the essence of cognac,” says Kilian Hennessy, founder and creative director of KILIAN PARIS. Served in a frosted glass bottle, Angels’ Share on the Rocks is a refreshing gourmand cocktail that opens with an extra dose of bitter orange in the on-the-rocks accord. A tangy cocktail of grapefruit oil, lemon oil, and Italian bergamot meets the fresh notes of aldehydes, elevating the traditional top notes to a refreshing and cool level. The creation, created in collaboration with perfumer Benoist Lapouza, quickly develops into a rich cognac essence, opening with the signature on-the-rocks accord of bitter orange. Cinnamon bark oil from Laos and tonka bean absolute from Venezuela unfold in the warm amber heart, lending the fragrance its spicy-sweet depth. The composition is rounded off by persistent notes of oak absolute, expressing refined elegance and lasting warmth.
