‘Authentically Italian in heart, body and soul, Renaissance Xerjoff is a sparkling bouquet of fruity accords. Inspired by our rich heritage and an homage to the glamour of our home country. Renaissance represents the inspiring character of Italy, opening with fresh top notes of Bergamot, mandarin and lemon. An enchanting heart of Bulgarian rose, mint and blossoming lily-of-the-valley represents the exquisite and varied beauty of Italy while classically warm Xerjoff renaissance basenotes of cedar wood, patchouli, amber and musk dance across the skin with impeccable delicacy.’ – Xerjoff
Zefiro is a beautiful combination of sweet and spicy. It’s very woody in essence up first spray and I think the herbals, iris and carnation all add to a slight ‘vintage’ feeling.
I get images of a dusty, rum-barrel with the wine note and also pencil shavings. There is a load of cardamom up tup. I get hints of everything throughout: woody, green, powdery, boozy, smoky, honey, cinnamon. Some wafts are more of a herbal green wood, some more sweet. I’m not sure if I love it myself, but it’s definitely rich and multifaceted. Probably will speak to a more mature audience the most.
