Straight away, you can tell that Ytzma has a leather-with-fruity-edge vibe that’s very similar to Tom Ford Tuscan Leather. Powdery, dusty suede with a soft watery fruitiness.
The biggest differentiator for me on first impression is a creamy sweetness that’s much stronger in Ytzma. And while it sets it apart and the scent of the vanilla is really nice, I’m not sure how I feel about the combination; it feels like a bit of a strange mix. There’s a lot going on, with some florals, some blonde woods, the leather, the vanilla, the fruitiness… a complex composition, but not one that brings it all together perfectly.
Definitely an interesting one to try, but not one that will end up among my favorites.
