I’ve sampled this one a couple of times now and it’s one of my favorites from Clive Christian.

It opens very spicy with a lot of cardamom, but also cinnamon, which makes this warmer and cozier than I initially expected. The woods have a nice balance; you get some vetiver, but also a hint of sweetness. It’s dry, powdery and mature. I can wear it, but I could also picture my grandfather wearing this style of scent.

It evokes warmth to me; like a fireplace in a wooden cabin on a Winter’s night. Fragrantica lists pineapple and rhubarb, but I can’t detect any of those so far.
