This is an EDT released in 1997, titled Wu, with ‘The Fragrance – Le Parfum’ written on the back.
The notes I found for this are: lemon, green notes, sage, thyme, cardamom, moss, patchouli, sandalwood, leather & vetiver.
My bottle probably went bad, but it does smell watery and aromatic, with a weird liquorice-like sweetness. I would’ve guessed this to be a lavender, violet and moss based on the smell. I don’t care about the scent either way. As a long time Wu-Tang fan, this was just fun memorabilia to run into.
Considering the shape of the bottle, I like to think this was meant to be a take on Dior Fahrenheit, albeit a lot fresher and greener. The gasoline-like facet here could just be due to bad aging though.
Fun fact: It originally came with a 24k gold-plated earring in the shape of the Wu-Tang logo. The box contains a form you could send back in an envelope with cash (yes, that was suggested) to receive an additional earring.
