Woods In Love (f.k.a. In The Wood For Love) is the first time I get to wear a Roos & Roos on skin (I have tried more of them in stores and found them generally plesant). Woods In Love is nice, but not something that I would personally pick out of a collection (although I do absolutely love the bottle design).
Mainly because to my nose, the main theme here is orange blossom. A nice scent profile, but one that rarely excites me. The opening is really nice, with a lot of citrus. It smells rather natural and the citrus makes for a nice, Summery feeling. However, as is usually the case with citrus, this fades faster than one would like.
The leftover citrussy vibes are from orange blossom and you get that distinct, orange-floral-creamy mix that just wears nicely. Orris sort of blends in with the creaminess of it. It’s sweet, almost candied citrus and green hues are there as well.
When the last bits of acidity and brightness fade away, the florals go more in that sweeter, woody direction with violet being listed as a main note. But on my skin, this takes quite a while, hence I view it as mostly an orange blossom scent.
