Translated to “the woods has teeth” from the old tongue, this is the scent of the feral woodland itself: cold bark, frozen soil, damp moss, and smoke in the air. Resinous, mineral, and austere (…) Þe Wode Hath Teth represents the waxing moon and the scent of the feral forest and its dangers. Werwulf is the scent of the beast awakening—the moment under the full moon when civility gives way to something older.
