‘Inspired by the lust for novelty and exploration, wandervogel combines exotic shiso, aquatic notes, and subtle sand accords, lending it an airy, near transcendent appeal. Combined with a soft note of rare Moroccan mint, it’s a modern interpretation of exploration and lands unseen.’ – 27 87
Wandervogel was an interesting one to try out as the notes were not really up my alley. I sampled it in high heat however and I figured it would be a good one in this weather.
You definitely get a green airy wind with a mineralic ocean in the back. It’s not a sun-tan lotion beachy scent, but definitely a watery oceanic one with a lot of green. It’s refreshing as the mint is quite prominent to my nose.
It does come across a little plasticy for me, but not in a bad way. It’s not just really my type of scent. In the high heat, I could appreciate it, but it’s too much of a ‘chewing gum’ scent for me to really enjoy wearing otherwise.
