‘Virulhaka Raja, the Southern King of the Cāturmahārājika Heaven, is remembered in legend as the founder of Hell, the divine architect who laid the foundation of punishment with uncompromising justice. Metallic copper and sulfur ignite the opening, fiery with a chilling undertone. Cambodian oud forms the heart, raw and incense-like, enriched with red cotton flower and smoky Choya Raal. Labdanum, castoreum, Peru balsam and clove anchor the base in leathery animalic strength with rounded spicy warmth. A fragrance of contrasts: raw, fiery, and enigmatic yet elegant and composed.
