I’d never heard of V’E until I came across a miniature of the EDP version that I bought. It was released in 1989 (or 1982 per Parfumo?); making it only the 3nd or even 2nd release from the house. In one of the weirdest looking bottles I’ve come across.
This is a green floral feminine leaning fragrance. Straight away I get a dewy, shampoo-like green scent with some aldehydes and citrus. It’s a bit green for my taste, but it does evolve quickly.
There’s a tropical sweetness (ylang-ylang presumably) coming through. The sweetness is likely more a testament of its age here, but I do appreciate it.
It remains a very floral, slightly fruity and clean green affair. V’E wears like a greener, more refined (but less pleasurable) version of Ralph Lauren Safari.
