‘As a catchy melody, a love song, layered over a moody soundscape, this fragrance folds over the duality of vanilla, with its darker, profound notes taking precedence over the sweetness and charm we usually associate with it. Jil Sander Vanille is an Ambery Leathery fragrance composed of upcycled Cedarwood and CO₂ extracted Vanilla, accentuated by Labdanum from Spain – and fully revealed by the aldehydes. Simultaneously angelic, sensual, and mysterious, it gives us a way to express our many different facets (…) A new fusion of botany and technology. Six clear-cut compositions infused with three key natural ingredients and the synthetic molecules of aldehydes – the specific quality of this collection.
