As far as scents go, Vanilla Black Pepper is probably my favorite Bohoboco, but it’s plagued with one of their lesser performances.

This is a mature vanilla; not overly sweet, but at the same time, still a prominent vanilla. On top of pepper and cedar. There’s a nutty tinge (heliotrope is listed, but this feels a tad darker, more like a hazelnut). Slightly chocolate-y, but it never goes fully gourmand.

There’s a floral tinge, adding some levity. It smells great, but as mentioned, the performance in my testing felt well below average.
