Vanilla² is pretty much the late drydown of  Casamorati Lira on steroids, straight from the opening. It gets very powdery, rather than creamy, with a tiny hint of smokiness surrounding it.

There’s really not much to say about it to be frank; it’s super sweet, super straight-forward and a great option if you are looking for a pure blast of vanilla. I think it smells better than the often compared Montale Vanilla Absolu and I definitely think it smells better than Jovoy Fire At Will.

That being said, it’s a bit much and a bit linear for my taste. I love sweet fragrances as much as the next person (and probably more), but fragrances like this one are pushing the boundary of it still feeling like an actual perfume, and not just spilling your vanilla cake over you. More of a scent I’d wear to bed than I’d wear going out or meeting other people. Also, this would be great for layering if you’re into that.
