To me, this one opened green and as most from the brand, somewhat sweet. Even a tad fruity and I thought this would not be my jam. However, the more I wore it, the more I liked it and I felt Umeris was arguably the most understated and mature scent in the collection.

It grows almost completely woody, but with a hint of sweet. Like warm woodcut shavings. I like the woodiness, I don’t love the sweetness here. Light spicy, but quite accessible; I don’t get a serious punch from for example the immortelle. One of the more masculine leaning offerings from Soul Of Makeen.
