Tierra was reformulated with perfumer Andreas Wilhelm in 2023. According to Pernoire, the composition stays true to the 2021 release.

Tierra was the one from the 2021 Pernoire releases that I was most excited to try. And I do think it’s potentially the most interesting of their starting line-up for me. It is very sweet straight from the opening, with a boozy tinge. It’s description hints at a tropical landscape and I can totally picture that. I get fruity tinges and a chocolately earth. For a moment it reminded me of the original Zoologist Macaque a bit (maybe just because of the word tropical), but it’s a darker and sweeter take for sure. It’s potent and I do prefer Tierra when it has toned down a bit in it’s later hours of the wear.

Whereas Masar and Vitias became harder to wear for me in subsequent wearings (the original versions, not the reformulated releases that followed), Tierra grew on me and it’s probably my favorite Pernoire at the time of writing.
