This was a pleasant surprise, although as a whole wear, it’s not something I would personally go for. However, it’s one that I could recommend to others.

I’m not really familiar with this women’s line of The One (the men’s is a rightful classic, unfortunately with notoriously bad performance, but a great scent). So I went in completely blank and I was instantly charmed by it.

This opens fresh; fruity, zesty and soapy. It doesn’t register like actual fruits to my nose, but like a nice, bright handsoap.

And this remains true for the entire wear. It balances sweet and citrussy; a better berry-esque fruitiness than most of the releases in the 2025-2026 berry-trend. It never gets cloying and instead offers that soapy, clean side that keeps it from smelling like candy.

In the drydown, I’m reminded of peach and white wine or vinegar; it literally goes a lot drier. Powdery even. Bordering on a cleaning product vibe; definitely a toiletry vibe up close, with a very feminine ‘perfume-y’ cloud from a distance. It’s not for me, but it’s enjoyable.
