For Dolce & Gabbana’s The One is quite the tragic story of a wonderful fragrance, with one of the best smells in the designer realm, but plagued with (almost?) unforgivable performance issues. Frankly, I don’t really care and I enjoyed wearing The One in the earlier days of my fragrance journey, before moving on from it.

I had a bottle of the EDT; the EDP is probably the better way to go, but the performance upgrade isn’t enough still in my opinion.

For a boozy fragrance, The One has few fragrances that can compete with it, especially at its price point. It’s classy, but fun. Charming, sexy, smooth. A rightfully popular release.
