‘A reminiscence of times of gold and glory in Sóller Valley – Majorca. When oranges were traded like gemstones, life was grand and refined. Finely balancing precious citrus with a sophisticated aromatic leather note. Exuberance meets elegance. A scent with the allure of that time. For our time.’ D:SOL MMXVI
While Terram is my absolute favorite from the original 3 releases from D:SOL (a new release is on the horizon in 2022), Tesora is easy to like.
It’s a bitter orange, with at first more of a ‘conventional’ juicy kick. However, it’s complex for a citrus, you get the greener edge with the petitgrain, the acidity, the rind, basically the whole fruit.
As it dries down, this feels like a combination of (orange tinged) soap and super light suede. I’d have to see how this holds up performance-wise, but this is really soothing and a great subtle citrus scent.
