Sydney could be my favorite from the collection. This is a spicy, but fresh scent. The fruitiness is there (and no, it smells nothing like Aventus). Like most of the Contes de Parfums, it’s rather subtle and transparent, which suits this fruity style well.

There’s definitely some resinous sweetness in there, creating a bit of a clash, but in an interesting and wearable way. As with several releases from this brand, I’m not loving the aquatic scent much, but in Sydney (as opposed to Positano) it has just enough distractions. This was done by Ramon Monegal and I could definitely picture Sydney to fit right  in with the Monegal Ibiza line.
