What I get here is a rather earthy and dry tobacco and birch. Comparing it to popular niche offerings, it’s more so Les Indemodables Vanille Havane (or even a hint of Akro’s Smoke), than a Herod or Tobacco Vanille. Instead of gourmand vanilla, there’s a cola like vibe with a tropical twist from the ylang-ylang. It’s dirty and clean at the same time; very smoky, but never daring to my nose. At the edge of my comfort zone, but very intriguing to wear.
