‘The moon, at its greatest splendor, brightens our short summer nights… nights of stories, conversations and laughs with priceless moments of silence and feelings of wonder when we stare up and admire the glowing super moon… A fruity, enveloping fragrance that frees the wonders of the summer nights lit by the most fantastic moon.‘ – Carner Barcelona
Super Moon was released alongside Tennis Club (which is not my thing) and Sal Y Limon (which I really enjoyed). Super Moon falls in between.
This smells fine, but straight away, it’s not the type of fragrance that would excite me. Traditionally feminine leaning berry fruitiness and mandarin with basic sweet florals; not much standing out.
Acidity from cassis seems to be a bit of a standout for a few minutes as far as the scent goes. But it becomes a nondescript mix of sweet, fruity and floral almost instantly. Definitely also a hint of rose water to my nose, despite no rose being listed.
The type of scent that won’t offend anyone, but it’s too sweet to be classy. It’s a carefree, somewhat youthful soapy sweet blend. Furthermore, it’s generic; I can picture this scent in very basic product lines of soap, candles, room sprays etc.
Super Moon has been compared to Dior Rouge Trafalgar quite a lot, which is indeed a similar, but also significantly better fragrance if you ask me.
