Despite not being listed in the notes, Sunset To Midnight wore like a tobacco scent on my skin. Sweet, slightly fruity, like dried fruit. With quite a bit of earthiness throughout.

What’s interesting here is the texture and ingredients used. I can imagine, for some, a big downside to this fragrance, as it doesn’t smell rich, dense or expensive to my nose. Instead, Sunset to Midnight has this almost transparent, hairspray like quality to it, with a thin ambroxan sweetness, more so than the resinous notes that are listed. However, for my experience, that wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. It set it apart from many other fragrances, as the overall scent is pretty familiar. It made for a non-demanding wear and perhaps could be a good change of pace for this type of scent profile.

Overall, it’s warm, inviting, earthy and sweet. Not really a fragrance to go out of your way for to be honest, but not too shabby.
