I’ve smelled the SWY line a couple of times, but I couldn’t tell you exactly what differences there are between the different versions. With Powerfully, that feels about right. There’s nothing distinctive about this composition. I don’t even get the cherry at all. This smells how I vaguely remember ‘Stronger With You in general’ smells.

Cinnamon, sugar, nuts. Soft in texture, like a mushy cloud of nutty sweetness, that grows ever more sugary. It’s not unpleasant and it wears decently well, but it’s not my cup of tea. The more and more it dries down, it gives me a similar grating sweet feeling as Baccarat Rouge does.

In its defense, it’s not that sweet. It’s very sweet from start to finish, but there are sweeter designers for sure; I still find it cloying personally, but fans of the SWY line shouldn’t find an issue with it.

If you’re looking to Powerfully for a super strong version, you will probably not be happy. I think it performs well, but it’s rather soft and airy; it doesn’t wear like a ‘super concentrated’ version and definitely not a bold or more daring version; if anything, it feels more generic and less full-bodied or smoky than I remember SWY’s doing in the past.

Not bad per se, but about as unnecessary of a flanker as they come.
