Spicebomb is a modern classic DNA that I’m sure will stand the test of time. The original is great, Infrared is great, but my favorite remains Spicebomb Extreme.

I would argue that Spicebomb Extreme is in many ways better than Parfums de Marly Herod (even if I prefer Herod myself). Spicebomb Extreme is less linear, while drying down quite similarly.

The opening has a blast of spices, although ironically enough the extreme is definitely less extreme/less focused on the spices than the Original. Instead Extreme goes into a sweeter tobacco drydown. I like how the sweetness is really vanilla and not too sugary.

Performance has always been solid for me and I think it’s one of the better designers and designer flankers ever released that’s deserving all it’s hype.
