‘Southern Bloom honours the rare and enchanting native scented flower, the Boronia during its short September ‘spring-bloom’, on Australia’s southernmost island, Bruny off the coast of Tasmania. The absolute of boronia is distinctive and one of the most expensive perfume materials in the world. An immediately lavish, pure and sensational floral-woody fragrance, with a smooth, velvety sensation and glimpses of exquisite green notes combined with red coloured fruity notes. Opulent, feminine, sophisticated and intensely luxurious.’ – Goldfield & Banks
One of the most interesting fragrances by this brand for me, and one that I thoroughly enjoy. This has an intriguing mix of a sweeter, coconutty, sun tan lotion scent and a more traditional feminine leaning ‘perfume-y’ tinge. The texture is nice and smooth, this wears velvety soft on my skin. It is rather safe and versatile, maybe not the most eccentric, but also not generic to me; a rare to find balance. A classy scent that I wouldn’t mind having in my collection one day.
