Vanilla
Dark Chocolate

Bitter Orange
Sorriso is one of the more hyped gourmands in recent years and it’s not hard to see why. It’s almost there for me, but ultimately, I’d prefer to smell it on a woman more than on myself.
Instantly you’re hit with a lactonic, smooth and very sweet scent. For me, it reminds me of sugar frosting on a cake; almost making your teeth hurt… but in a good way. What I don’t love about Sorriso is that the milkiness becomes fruity almost straight away. It has this peachy musky vibe in a highly artificial way (like the C-14 aldehyde molecule kind of peachiness).
I don’t get the dark chocolate, or even most of the bitter orange. It’s too… soapy? in a weird way, or maybe like a candle is a better description, for it to be chocolate to my nose. There’s an orange tinge, but it’s syrupy and also artificial like you would find in a desert. Other than that I mainly get a mix of frosting and vanilla ice cream with that slightly fruity milk tinge. I can also see how people get coconut from this.
All of the above may sound less than convincing, but it’s actually a really nice gourmand scent. I just think the fruitiness steers it a bit away from my personal taste.
