‘Does the Zaharoff live up to the hype?’ is one of the questions I get asked most. The simple answer is that it’s absolutely worthy of all the praise. There are few fragrances in my collection that I wore more of and I don’t even really love lavender or fougere style fragrances.

Signature Pour Homme is the perfect balance for someone with my taste; it’s extremely versatile. It’s bright, sparkling, subtle enough for a warm day, but cozy, comforting and rich enough for colder weather. In the opening the lavender is very prominent and it’s arguably my favorite rendition of that note; it’s like a soft lavender, which isn’t sharp, but just tingles your senses.

I get the fruitiness from the pear and after a while it starts to transition into something more sweet and woody. It leans more to the traditional masculine side, but I’d like to add that women can and do definitely enjoy this as well, so don’t let the ‘Pour Homme’ in the name scare you off if you’re a woman.
