‘Seville Perfume 100ml EDP by Rayhaan is a bold, elegant oriental spicy fragrance. Made for those who love warm, sweet and slightly woody complexity. Designed for both men and women, Seville blends rich spices, creamy vanilla and sensual musk to create a fragrance. It feels luxurious, comfortable and confidently modern, perfect for lovers of both versatile and long-lasting fragrances.’ – Emirates Oud

Looking at the color of the presentation and the notes, it should come as no surprise that Seville is copy of Parfums de Marly Althair. I actually prefer it over Althair, as the opening of Althair, with more of the floral side felt off to my nose (I did enjoy the drydown). Seville feels a tad less complex and dives directly into that smokier, warmer and full-on ambroxan-vanilla sweet base. The orange blossom feels toned down significantly to my nose.
A really good option if you want this DNA, although I haven’t smelled the popular Liquid Brun (or the newer Liquid Brun Extrait), so I don’t know if Seville offers anything over that one in terms of value. The presentation isn’t really to my taste here, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the bottle, the magnetic cap and especially the great atomizer, so that may be another reason to consider the Rayhaan.
