‘Thai Local Spirits x SIAM1928.’ – Siam1928

I absolutely love how different Yodbeer, and now also this Sandport feel from the other fragrances I’ve tried from Siam1928. These Thai Local Spirits fragrances with boozy notes feel more modern and quirky and so far, absolutely like their own little collection.

Whereas the booziness felt subtle for me in Yodbeer, here in Sandport, I get a pretty strong beer scent. Beer, grapefruit and vetiver, in a combination that reminds me a bit of cannabis-grapefruit fragrances like Byredo Open Sky or V/siteur Beach Bizarre, but much more… bready?.

Green, citrussy, fuzzy, a bit intoxicated, but instead of the green overtaking, the bread-like, wheat and hops steer Sandport in a different direction than the aforementioned fragrances. Definitely not up my alley and not something I could ever see myself wearing public, but a fun endeavor to sample nonetheless.
