I can only give a minimal description of Sal Y Limon, as I didn’t write down any notes when I tried it on skin. However, I figured I’d share those minimal thoughts anyway, since Sal Y Limon definitely is my favorite of the 3 releases so far in the Summer Journey collection by Carner and definitely one of my overall favorites from the brand.

Sal Y Limon is simple, but effective. Perfect for the high heat, with a zesty, lively and vibrant citrus scent. You mostly get a huge blast of lemon at first, but as it goes on, more of the lime comes through.

As it dries, you get only minor additions from the base notes. This is a light and bright fragrance, which I think is probably the best way to go for a Summery citrus. I’m not a fan of the ones where you get fresh citrus for an hour, followed by a 5 hour vanilla dry down; just give me the citrus and I’ll reapply if I want to, because that’s the scent I intended to wear. Sal Y Limon could be one of my favorites for that pure citrus wear.
