Saffron Hamra, as the name suggests, is a quality saffron. To be honest, I’ve been tired of saffron as a main note for a while; it’s so distinct that it ends up smelling too familiar. So my views on this release may be a bit skewed. Here I get dry leather, a bit sweetened (for a moment), evolving into a nice dark, but subtle rose, at which stage I find it to be the most interesting.
