‘A fragrant fable of floral, green and woody qualities, inspired by the thorns and blooms of the rose. Rōzu Arises explores the journey of the rose across the years and seasons—from the spiked, woody stems that withstand winter’s cold, to the flourishing petals and leaves of spring. A fable about growth told through scent, with notes of Shiso, Vetiver Bourbon and Jasmine conjuring the unyielding spirit of the Thorn, as a radical use of Rose grows unforeseen facets. All of this is contained in a newly redesigned bottle with an embossed Aesop insignia, and a pleasingly textured cap inspired by basalt—a rock on which our hometown of Melbourne was quite literally built.’ – Aesop
