La Closerie is one of the most underrated brands. Some of their fragrance, like Rose Petale Cardamom, Rose Bois Muscade, which I’ve reviewed prior, but also their two Iris ones are excellent. Unfortunately, Rose Suede Canelle isn’t doing it for me.

Not surprisingly, given the suede, leather, cashmeran vibes, which never really speak to me much. The scent itself is pretty nice, heavy on the saffron and rose, but to me, the texture leaves a lot to be desired. This one came across a bit harsh and plasticy on my skin and especially to the two aforementioned rose scents in their line-up, I would not consider wearing this one instead.
