I wore Rose Petale Cardamome alongside Rose Bois Muscade. Both are really nice options.
Despite listing relatively heavier notes and no citrusses, I found more levity and brightness in this one. Mostly, because of the rose itself.
This is a more floral, slightly fruity and unisex take on rose. I actually found the rose scent here done extraordinary well done.
With it comes the namesake cardamom, which gives the opening minutes a bit of a daring edge. The cardamom here isn’t dry and it goes more in a sweaty, cumin-esque direction. However, it’s not too much and within the hour, it fades into the background as a lasting, but non-daring facet.
The rose as mentioned, is beautiful and it’s central here. It has a bit of everything, especially as the greener opening turns into a sweeter drydown.
Unfortunately (but rightfully), this is one of the more expensive fragrances from the La Closerie Des Parfums brand, otherwise I might put on my wishlist.
